Minnesota Valley Action Council recognized the accomplishments and contributions of several individuals at its annual meeting July 19. Each year, MVAC presents Achiever awards to people who made remarkable progress with the assistance of MVAC programs, and Supporter awards to individuals and businesses that provided significant assistance to agency programs. Pictured above (from left) are MVAC’s Meghan Braam, Le Sueur County Supporter Heather Slechta of Country Neighbors in Le Center, Le Sueur County Achiever Scott Manderfield, and MVAC’s Tiffany Vanden Einde. Executive Director John Woodwick reported at the meeting that MVAC had delivered more than $25.5 million in services in the last year to provide opportunities for people and communities in the nine counties of south central Minnesota.
